[squid-users] access.log ignores query string?

I'm using Squid as a httpd-accelerator, and access.log is configured for
squid format (as opposed to httpd format). The problem is, if a http GET
is like "http://x.com/dir/foo?a=b&c=d", the query string after question
mark is not shown in access.log file. Am i missing something? Is there a
way to fix it?
