Hey!

I've installed squid version 2 and I want to use an authentificate-program. I found I reference
linked from the official squid FAQ site: http://home.iae.nl/users/devet/squid/proxy_auth/

Thereare the following tags used:

authenticate_program /usr/local/squid/bin/ncsa_auth
authenticate_options /usr/local/squid/etc/passwd
authenticate_children 5

but when parsing squid.conf, squid shows me the following error message:

> parseConfigFile: line 922 unrecognized: 'authenticate_options /etc/passwd'
(...)

Do I need an older squid version to use this kmind of authentication? If yes, what kind of
authentification can I use and where can I find authenticate progs?
I'm using webmin, too. Is there any standard authenticate tool from webmin I can use? (I
discovered an option: authenticate program: Webmin Standard to choose?

Kind regards
Michael
