[squid-users] Slack and squid

Hi all,
I am using slack8.1 with 2.4.18
I have downloaded squid2.5STABLE1.tar.gz
and intalled it .
I start it with s parameter and it created directories..
when I start squid
it generates no error but there is no running squid process too...
