but it grow beyond the cache_mem
this is my conf

cache_mem 16 MB
cache_swap_low 80
cache_swap_high 100
maximum_object_size 4096 KB
minimum_object_size 0 KB
ipcache_size 1024
ipcache_low 90
ipcache_high 95
cache_dir ufs /usr/squid/cache1 3000 8 256

The computer is pentium III 700 mhz, 256 mb ram, I give space 3gb for squid.
is this good conf??

Why i can't us aufs on cache_dir??
