[squid-users] Procedure for changing cache size

I want to reduce the amount of disk space that is allocated to squid.

What is the correct procedure after making the changes to the
cache_dir statement? Would I stop squid, run 'squid -z' and then
restart? (Do I need to manually delete anything?)
