Got this working now, thanks to some local help (SteveB)!
 
It was the round-robin setting I was using for the upstream proxies!
 
Dont suppose it is possible to "weight" only one of the upstream caches
for HTTPS traffic?
 
That way I dont loose the resiliance/performance of round-robin for
general HTTPS.
