Hi All,

Hope you can help me out with this problem
I have setup squid on FreeBSD 4.7, P4, 1.5GHz 256MB RAM

Here are some of the changes I made on the config file

     cache_mem 128MB
     maximum_object_size 64MB
     cache_replacement_policy heap GDSF
     cache_dir diskd /cache1 10240 16 256 Q1=64 Q2=72
     cache_dir diskd /cache2 10240 16 256 Q1=64 Q2=72
     cache_dir diskd /cache3 10240 16 256 Q1=64 Q2=72
     cache_dir diskd /cache4 10240 16 256 Q1=64 Q2=72

After that I run squid and test it
I browse from one host www.yahoo.com, and the log shows TCP_MISS
But when I accessed www.yahoo.com again on another host the log still
shows TCP_MISS
I don't think it cached that page, what could be wrong on my configuration?
I tested it again using www.bloomberg.com and still its TCP_MISS
Is it adviseable that I use that many cache directories?

Thank You in advanced

Regards,
Nhadzter
