Hello,

have Configured NCSA as :

authenticate_program /usr/bin/ncsa_auth /usr/etc/passwd
wnere passwd is my linux passwd file copy.

i get no error in compling but get follwing errors during the proxy is
accessed when the user access the proxy at the time of logon.
and even a vaild user name password gets denied .

my cache log shows :
2003/01/06 18:39:28| WARNING: authenticator #1 (FD 6) exited
2003/01/06 18:39:32| WARNING: authenticator #2 (FD 7) exited

2003/01/06 18:41:25| Took 0.0 seconds (44117.6 entries/sec).
FATAL: Too few authenticator processes are running
Squid Cache (Version 2.4.STABLE6): Terminated abnormally.

and my Squid restarts !

In my Access log i get TCP_Denied for each Request.

Can anyone tell me what is the possible problem.

Thanx in advance.
