[squid-users] Domain authentication

We have a network of ten Win2K workstations and a Samba PDC using
smbpassword for authentication.
I recently added Squid to control internet access, blocking all other
internet to the workstations on the firewall. At present, I am blocking
by IP but as we have roaming profiles, the users can use another
workstation that does have internet access to bypass.
My best option would be domain authentication as a form of control, how
well does this work?
If not, does smb or pam work well?
