when you install RH8.0 you can selected the RPM packages for kernel
development
the kernel installed in /usr/src directory

if not, install the Kernal source
and patch up with ip_wccp

AFAIK, you have to compile the kernel again after patching the ip_wccp
patch, to work WCCPv2

and make sure your Router Support WCCPv2

Boot with new Kernel and Compile squid 2.5 with WCCPv2 patch

./configure
make
make install
