[squid-users] A problem

hi guys

well i m moving to wccpv2 on redhat8 but got some problems when i
fallows the steps according to

i got 2.4.18 kernel do i have to download the kernel again and compile
it, next thing is this if do not compile the kernel i only applys the
wccp patch and go for the lilo.conf for append i didnt find any such
file only foooound lilo.conf.anaconda and then i append it and reboots
my redhat the kernel got panics so any solution from you guys have.
