Hello *,
when starting squid with debug_options 17,2 I get the following
messages:

2003/01/23 10:56:48| The request GET http://URL/FILE.pdf is ALLOWED,
because it matched 'InternetErlaubnis'
2003/01/23 10:56:49| fwdAbort: http://URL/FILE.pdf

2003/01/23 10:56:49| The request GET http://URL/FILE.pdf is ALLOWED,
because it matched 'InternetErlaubnis'
2003/01/23 10:56:49| fwdServerClosed: FD 31 http://URL/FILE.pdf

It also appears when requesting gif's or other files bigger than ?kb.
Some web pages won't show all images. Others (may be with smaller
images) will.
Perfomance should be better. Request send to squid are forwarded to a
firewall. Firewall rules are ok. The Firewall receives the complete
url and send it back to squid. No dns queries by squid, all done by
the firewall.

Client -> squid -> firewall
Client <- squid <- firewall

Client access to squid is only allowed, when the client ip is part of
an ACL.
(We call this ACL 'InternetErlaubnis')

OS: RedHat 7.3 with kernel 2.4.18-3

Don't know, what's going on.

Thnx 4 help
