Hello Kevin,
We're currently running Squid 2.5 on RedHat 8.0 for about 50 days without any
problems.
(using ldap authentication)
But make sure that you first run 'up2date' after installing RedHat from scratch,
because the paches have some important fixes regarding ext3.
