[squid-users] FAQ 7.13 Can I make origin servers see the client's IP address when going through Squid?

Hi,

I'm wanting to cache only HTTP and I want to pass the client IP address
but want to use the real address and not the forwarded_for. This FAQ
seems to be what I want, however after downloading the kernel, patching
it and iptables and also reading the iptables howtos/faqs/tutorials etc.
I'm no further forward, has anybody managed to get this to work, and if
so can you point me in the right direction ?

Regards,

Dave
