[squid-users] Warn Users of First Proxy Access

Our company is presently running Squid using NCSA authentication. The users
are prompted for a password when they attempt to access the Internet.

However, the users are becoming frustrated with typing their password
whenever they
access the Internet. They would prefer to allow NTLM do the work for them.
We are
Windows on the desktop.

I have successfully configured Squid with the SMB ntlm helper and it is
working fine. I
don't have to type my password to access the Internet.

My only issue with this "invisible" authentication is that users might not
be able to tell when
they are accessing the Internet (assume nothing).

Is it possible to present a "You are about to access the Internet" warning
page when the
users first access the Internet, during the authentication phase?

I have searched the FAQ and mailing lists for answers and have drawn a
blank.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Aaron Browne
