How far have you got?

1. Compile Squid with --enable-snmp and install mrtg.

2. Set up snmp_port and snmp_access in squid.conf.

3. Create a suitable mrtg.conf using the examples found on the
Internet as starting point. Do not forget to include the Squid
mib.txt file from mrtg.conf.

4. Run mrtg manually to verify it finds all the requested elements and
is able to talk to Squid.

5. Set up a cron job to have mrtg called every 5 minutes to collect
the needed information from Squid.

6. If you are not fully happy with your graphs, tweak your mrtg.conf
until you have the graphs you are looking for.

Henrik
