[squid-users] Need help to setup transparent proxy

Hi !

I need your help with setting up a transparent proxy, please...
At first my system:
    X86 linux 2.4.20
    Squid 2.5.STABLE1
    Iptables 1.2.7a

I tried to do:
    iptables -t nat -I PREROUTING -i eth0 -p tcp -s 10.10.0.0/16 -j
REDIRECT --to-port 8080

Squid is running at port 8080.
When i activate the proxy in the browser-properties it's no problem to
surf the web.
But when i apply the iptables command and deactivate the proxy setting
in the browser then i see a error-message when i surf the web:

ERROR - Invalid URL

Network parameters (like ip and gateway) are configured and working
But i don't know why my transparent proxy doesn't work...

If you could help me i'd be happy ;)
