Hello Marc,

Thanks for your response. Nothing in cache.log or
access.log.

In previous mail itself i'm telling that, able to
start squid, it alos runs with 2 process.

But when i try to send request using squidclient
http://www.google.com, it hangs as

 "HTTP request sent: waiting for response."

in debug mode too(squid -NCd1), it hangs at

at "Beginning Validation Procedure"

after that we need to get as
Completed Validation Procedure
........ Validated 0 Entries
........ store_swap_size = 0k
........ storeLateRelease: released 0 objects

but won't.

No hint from cache.log. But no pbl with 64 bit
machine.
