Wolf,

I think You could:
- simplify access control lists; every request goes through acl
until it matches any; so you should put those that matches most
at the beginning of ACL's if possible; You could also reduce the
number of acl matching pattrens;
- reduce the size of your spool; I think you should pay attention
to the question: how many objects are reused and how many are
buffered by spool and deleted without fetching again.
