[squid-users] All ntlmauthenticator processes are busy

Hi,

I'm using Redhat 8.0 + Squid2.5.STABLE1 + Samba2.2.8a ( winbind ) in my
testing network.
Sometimes IE will prompt authentiation window again anad again after I enter
username and password.
It's very annoying. After checking access.log and cache.log , I found the
system is asking
for more ntlmauthenticator processes. My testing network has only two
testing Windows 2000 machines,
I can't understand why all ntlmauthenticator processes are busy.
If I'm going to implement for 500 Users , how many ntlmauthenticator
processes I should specify in
squid.conf . Please give me your advice. Thanks in advance.
