If you want to see which users are using how much bandwidth in realtime then
u can use iptraf.

Or if u want them in log format then u can use sarg.

Subject: [squid-users] Squid Monitor

Hi all,

I have squid with ldap auth activated, the authentication is
made through active directory (By user) and I have acl's only permitting
users that belong to one specified group to be able to browse.

What I wanted to know is if there is any kind of tool to monitor
the proxy activity by user, like ... check what each user is doing and
how much bandwidth is consuming in real time. Can this be done ?

Thanks

Nuno Ferreira
