[squid-users] squid_ldap_auth problem

I am trying to get squid to authenticate users through MS Active
directory(win2K), but i'm having some problems:

i put the following lines in my squid.conf:

auth_param basic program /usr/lib/squid/squid_ldap_auth -h XXXXXXX
acl validusers proxy_auth REQUIRED
http_access allow validusers

where XXXXXX is the ip adress of the machine that has win2K.I created a user
in this machine for testing.

when i open the browser and put the login and password nothing happens and the
log is as follows:

1070474216.857 0 10.12.1.8 TCP_DENIED/407 1755 GET
http://www.google.com.br/ - NONE/- text/html

do i have to do something in the Win2K server ????
do i have to inform the domain of the win2k machine???
