Not on ezmlm managed lists like the Squid mailinglist. ezmlm uses magic
mail addresses, not commands in the subject or body like most other list
severs.

To get unsubscribed from a Squid mailinglist you simply send a message to

    <subscription_list_name>-unsubscribe@squid-cache.org

i.e. to unsubscribe from squid-users you send a mail to
squid-users-unsubscribe@squid-cache.org and then confirm the verification
message.

Or alternatively if you have changed email address and your old is still
forwarded to you (not bouncing) then send a message to

    <subscription_list_name>-unsubscribe-your.old%mail.address@squid-cache.org

where your.old%mail.address is your old mail address with % instead of @

The above way of unsubscribing an alternate email address also documented
in the error message returned if you attempt to unsubscribe an address not
currently unsubscribed together with information on how you may figure
out what email was used for the subscription if you are still getting
messages from the list.

If you need additional help on how to use the list server send a message
to

    <subscription_list_name>-help@squid-cache.org

And as was mentioned very recently the information on how to
subscribe/unsubscribe/get help is also found in the standard mail headers
of each and every message delivered to you via the list server.

Henrik
