[squid-users] image dithering

Does anyone know of any good patches / tools for using squid to reduce
bandwidth between the browser and the squid cache (for instance if your
Internet connection is a bluetooth cell phone and you are connecting to
a squid cache on a fast link.

I'm thinking of things like using ImageMagick to dither JPEGs and what
not.

Any ideas?
