Re: [squid-users] Squid serve stale object while fetching fresh

I am testing Squid 3.x (ESI, epoll, etc). Is there currently any solution or work around to this problem for 3.x? Can I make Squid do anything to lessen load on the backend servers when this happens?

I couldn't find any recent information regarding the development status of this patch except that it's not available for 3.x yet. Can you offer me any insight into where this patch really is in the development process? Is it in active development, etc?

Thanks!
Jake
