Or to be more precise in an ntlm-only configuration you will be unable to
access the Internet using any component which does not support NTLM
authentication to the proxy

   - Other browsers than MSIE
   - Sun Java JRE, most versions
   - Quite many different plugins etc
   - Other tools using http outside of MSIE.
