[squid-users] Keep serving cached content on httpd failure

Hi,

Is there a way to get squid to serve its cached content if the web
server is unreachable by the squid server, or under other conditions
(server returns http status of > 400)? If the web server goes down,
can the cache continue to serve cached objects indefinitely?
