[squid-users] Squid 3.0-PRE3-20041026 Reverse Proxy Setup

Hello everyone,

I am having a bit of trouble with the reverse proxy setup in 3.0. We
currently use 2.5Stable7. I would at least like to test under 3.0
because of the logformat directive being available. Does anyone know of
a patch for 2.5 that enables the same logformat directive + variables as
in 3.0PRE? The problem I am having with 3.0 is after about 15 minutes
it will just stop serving pages? The CPU drops to about 1% load on squid
(Should run about 20-30% full load), however the process never dies and
no errors appear in any of the logs. I am running fedora-core2 with
2.6.8-1.521smp kernel. My squid.conf contains the following non default
options. NOTE: The squid reverse proxy is not on the same box as the
origin webserver.

http_port 80 accel defaultsite=www.somewebsite.com

cache_peer www.somewebsite.com parent 80 0 no-query originserver

http_access allow all

Any help with this would be much appreciated.
