Hello,

First:

I have recently installed a server system with following SPECS;

IBM x-series XEON
1 GM RAM,
3 SCSI Drives

During installation I did NOT configure any RAID Option and simply
made two partitions :

[root@cache root]# df -h
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/sda1 7.7G 1.6G 5.8G 22% /
/dev/sda3 41G 33M 39G 1% /cache
none 496M 0 496M 0% /dev/shm
[root@cache root]#

Is it good idea to use Drives in this manner?

Second:

One of already setup cache is giving errors like

2004/10/29 23:54:25| clientReadRequest: FD 83 Invalid Request
2004/10/29 23:54:45| parseHttpRequest: Requestheader contains NULL characters
2004

Everyone can see that third line is not complete,, same is in
cache.log and after this the cache.log is never updated untill I
restart the squid process manually.
