Correct. Squid is still HTTP/1.0, mainly due to the lack of
transfer-encoding support.

Eventually it will get added, but it depends quite heavily on if/when
there is a sponsor for the project of getting Squid HTTP/1.1 ready. It is
a somewhat bigger project than what fits in spare time..
