[squid-users] Max Connections

Hi, I'm new to squid and I'm trying to trouble shoot an issue we are
having

Here is the setup

Squid server takes all requests and servers up pages that are
cached...then it send other requests to an Apache load balance server
which send %20 of the traffice to one of 5 tomcat servers...

The problem is that when we do a load test squid seems to get maxxed
out and stops sending requests to the load balance server.

We have increased the "max connections" and when it fills up... it
stops again...

Any help would be great
