[squid-users] using ICMP - should I?

Hello,

I currently run 3 cache servers on the same network, w/o different proxies
and siblings. Can this structure benefit of using ICMP?

e.g. if server has multiple addresses, measuring RTT to each one and
fetching the data from closest server?
