Hi,

Few questions here, hope somebody can help :) .

Currently I'm using squid-2.5.STABLE11-3.FC4 , to make the single sign
on working with samba PDC, I'm using the ntlm_auth come with squid
packages. Added following line to the squid configuration and everything
is working fine.

auth_param ntlm program /usr/lib/squid/ntlm_auth \\PDCSERVER

Problem 1:

    1135564998.543 703 192.168.18.202 TCP_MISS/200 37932 GET
http://www.gov.my/MYGOV/BI/Misc/GovMachinery/GovMachineryList.htm?
pdcdomain\user1 DIRECT/203.106.3.244 text/html

When user1 logged to the PDC PC and surfing, I found the log no more
record only username but with pdc domain too like pdcdomain\user1. If
there anyway to make squid only record the username and ignore the
pdcdomain ?

Problem 2:

When thouse PC is not domain based, the proxy will prompt users to
autheticate. The problem is the users have to key in pdcdomain\user1 as
their username. Is there anyway to avoid the pdcdomain\, so that the
squid only look for username to authenticate.

Please help. Thanks.
