[squid-users] auth issues

i have the following problem...
i configured squid to auth agains a password file using ncsa.
i have to rules "acl source src "file""
and "acl pass proxy_auth REQUIRED"

the problem is that MS IE take a long time after enter the username and
password, and firefox always ask for the username and password even if i
check the remember option.

any ideas?
