  - Advice : - download the latest stable release
                 - configure with the needed configure-options only.
                 - build and install

 In either case , check what happens if the intranet server name is added
 to the dns_testnames list in squid.conf.

 Check cache.log afterwards , after issuing a cold start of SQUID.
