[squid-users] Kernel Parameters for high performance cache

Hi, Is there any kernel parameter I should modify in a kernel 2.6.9 or
up, to allow squid to take full advantage of the machine it's running
?
Eg. If I want to use more than 1Gb of RAM for squid, should I modify
the kernel.shmmax parameter ?
