Hi, i'm having problems with MEM_HITs, the mem_cache is 2GB, the
maximum_object_size is 4096 KB and i'm having just 10.7 % MEM_HIT ratio.

Here is what i get with the cachemgr.cgi:

Cache information for squid:
        Request Hit Ratios: 5min: 83.8%, 60min: 77.0%
        Byte Hit Ratios: 5min: 19.8%, 60min: 29.6%
        Request Memory Hit Ratios: 5min: 10.7%, 60min: 4.8%
        Request Disk Hit Ratios: 5min: 47.4%, 60min: 63.6%
        Storage Swap size: 8476 KB
        Storage Mem size: 2096 KB
        Mean Object Size: 9.61 KB

Memory usage for squid via mallinfo():
Total space in arena: 5252 KB
Ordinary blocks: 5137 KB 12 blks
Small blocks: 0 KB 0 blks
Holding blocks: 432 KB 2 blks
        Free Small blocks: 0 KB
        Free Ordinary blocks: 114 KB
Total in use: 5569 KB 98%
        Total free: 114 KB 2%
        Total size: 5684 KB
Memory accounted for:
        Total accounted: 2919 KB
        memPoolAlloc calls: 436670
        memPoolFree calls: 427323

I'm not getting why Storage Mem size is just 2096 KB. and on mallinfo
appears:
Total in use: 5569 KB 98%

Could someone explain me what i'm doing wrong??

Thank you!
Santiago
