[squid-users] Squid, Dansguardian and follow_x_forwarded_for

Hello group,

I'm new to Squid, but I like what I see and how easy it is to work with.
I'm sorry if this question has been asked multiple times, but I've read
through MARC and the squid-cache posts and I have googled the internet,
but I cannot get follow_x_forwarded_for to work correctly.

I have Squid 2.6STABLE3 and Dansguardian 2.8.0.6 working great together,
but in my log reports generated by Sarg v 2.2.1 it shows the IP address
for 127.0.0.1 only. Which, from what I read is correct since DG is the
first cache after the user. When I use 'follow_x_forwarded_for allow
localhost' or 'follow_x_forwarded_for allow all' and then try to access
google.com it comes up with an Access Denied page from Squid, but my web
log from sarg does show the proper IP coming through, but only denied.
But if I remark out the lines it will allow me to go to Google.com and
other sites, but again my allowed access log only shows the 127.0.0.1
IP. I feel that I am really close but not sure what more I need to do.

Please, any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!
