Good question what it means. Not familiar with the RomPager server. I do
however frequently use HTTP digest authentication via Squid.

Using any http header anonymization?

You can also try comparing the headers returned by the server when going
direct, vs when Squid is forwarding the request (squid<->server
traffic).
