[squid-users] size and speed vs performance

So here is a question I have a lot of content that needs caching

Is there a big performance difference in say a machine with 4x250 sata
7200rom drives vs 4x150gb 10krpm sata drives? Each machine has 8Gb ram these
squids are acting as content cache from a san.

Or even would there be a huge difference with large 7200rpm sata drives?

Currently I have squids on a 73gb 10k sas drives and they are handling ~70MB
file downloads with no problem, though the average file size is around 350k
according to the squid info.

Cheers,
Zak
