    Sure performance will suffer. But the question is ...... are we
talking on a 2-requests-per-second squid or a 200-requests-per-second one ??

    If this squid handles very few connections and you have a decent
machine for it, nobody will notice the performance impact. But if you're
handle a lot connections ......
