You can. Such setup is done using proxy-arp, making the server respond
also to ARP for the router address on Nic2.

Another option as already mentioned is to configure the Squid server as
a bridge between the switch and firewall.

A third option is to assign a new IP on the router, using a private
network between router and Squid server.
