Your auth config is broken perhapse?

Really, we need some details to work with when giving help.

For starters:
  * what squid you are using,
  * how its connected to dansguardian,
  * which of the two is doing the auth,
  * how auth is configured,
  * how clients are connecting to the setup

with that someone may be able to have an idea.
