Unfortunately it is extremely intrusive on the code side. Squid-3 does a
lot more request upgrading toward HTTP/1.1 than Squid-2 did when it was
added. So the patch is taking longer than expected to get right.

I'm hoping for a port to be available for Squid-3.1/3.2.
