I think for now I'll stick with Lenny and try to get Squid working
with that release.

The question for which I am still unable to find an answer is: how to
get the libcap-??? library necessary to compile Squid with the TPROXY
feature?

Alternatively: is there a way (perhaps via some backport) to get the
Squid 3.1.6 binaries for Debian Lenny?
