Hello Guys,

I've created a Squid  url_regex acl to block url's that contain the word xxx followed by a period(.), like in www.xxx.com for example.
The issue is, there are some sites that have pdf's to download that contain XXX in the file name, like  www.thepdfsite.com/xxx.pdf .
Is there a way to create a reg. expression that catches all other (xxx.\.) but the ones with *.pdf extension ?

I've been reading regex tutorials for 2 days, and I was able to create an expression using perl regex, [xxx(?!.*pdf.*)] ,  but it does not seem to work on squid, apparently different implementation.

Thanks for any help provided,

Rodrigo
