Hello everyone. I tried running squid-3.1.8 with ecap support and I'm getting the same errors from before with 3.1.0.16: Squid restarts itself and can't find out what really causes it. Here is a snip from cache.log: 2010/10/05 21:11:59| WARNING: redirector #18 (FD 126) exited (squid)(death+0x49)[0x819fa89] [0xb7797400] /usr/local/lib/ecap_adapter_gzip.so(_ZN7Adapter7Xaction17noteVbContentDoneEb+0x5a)[0xb723f67a] (squid)(_ZN10Adaptation4Ecap10XactionRep23noteBodyProductionEndedE8RefCountI8BodyPipeE+0x57)[0x8218607] (squid)(_ZN12UnaryMemFunTI12BodyConsumer8RefCountI8BodyPipeEE6doDialEv+0x60)[0x8100dd0] (squid)(_ZN9JobDialerI12BodyConsumerE4dialER9AsyncCall+0x39)[0x8100749] (squid)(_ZN10AsyncCallTI18BodyConsumerDialerE4fireEv+0x18)[0x8100898] (squid)(_ZN9AsyncCall4makeEv+0x33e)[0x81ae95e] (squid)(_ZN14AsyncCallQueue8fireNextEv+0xf8)[0x81b13a8] (squid)(_ZN14AsyncCallQueue4fireEv+0x28)[0x81b1558] (squid)(_ZN9EventLoop7runOnceEv+0xe7)[0x81192c7] (squid)(_ZN9EventLoop3runEv+0x20)[0x8119390] (squid)(_Z9SquidMainiPPc+0x83b)[0x816718b] (squid)(main+0x27)[0x81677b7] /lib/i686/cmov/libc.so.6(__libc_start_main+0xe5)[0xb74ae455] (squid)(_ZNSt8ios_base4InitD1Ev+0x61)[0x80c90b1] FATAL: Received Segment Violation...dying. 2010/10/05 21:13:09| storeDirWriteCleanLogs: Starting... 2010/10/05 21:13:09| 65536 entries written so far. 2010/10/05 21:13:09| 131072 entries written so far. 2010/10/05 21:13:09| 196608 entries written so far. 2010/10/05 21:13:10| 262144 entries written so far. 2010/10/05 21:13:10| 327680 entries written so far. 2010/10/05 21:13:10| 393216 entries written so far. 2010/10/05 21:13:10| 458752 entries written so far. 2010/10/05 21:13:10| 524288 entries written so far. 2010/10/05 21:13:10| 589824 entries written so far. 2010/10/05 21:13:10| 655360 entries written so far. 2010/10/05 21:13:10| 720896 entries written so far. 2010/10/05 21:13:10| 786432 entries written so far. 2010/10/05 21:13:10| 851968 entries written so far. 2010/10/05 21:13:10| 917504 entries written so far. 2010/10/05 21:13:10| 983040 entries written so far. 2010/10/05 21:13:11| 1048576 entries written so far. 2010/10/05 21:13:11| 1114112 entries written so far. 2010/10/05 21:13:11| 1179648 entries written so far. 2010/10/05 21:13:12| 1245184 entries written so far. 2010/10/05 21:13:12| 1310720 entries written so far. 2010/10/05 21:13:12| 1376256 entries written so far. 2010/10/05 21:13:12| 1441792 entries written so far. 2010/10/05 21:13:12| 1507328 entries written so far. 2010/10/05 21:13:12| 1572864 entries written so far. 2010/10/05 21:13:12| 1638400 entries written so far. 2010/10/05 21:13:13| 1703936 entries written so far. 2010/10/05 21:13:17| 1769472 entries written so far. 2010/10/05 21:13:17| 1835008 entries written so far. 2010/10/05 21:13:17| 1900544 entries written so far. 2010/10/05 21:13:17| 1966080 entries written so far. 2010/10/05 21:13:17| 2031616 entries written so far. 2010/10/05 21:13:17| 2097152 entries written so far. 2010/10/05 21:13:17| 2162688 entries written so far. 2010/10/05 21:13:17| 2228224 entries written so far. 2010/10/05 21:13:17| Finished.
