[squid-users] best hardware for squid

hello, i'm new here and i'm newbie in squid, i have few a question?

i want to build squid server with this specification,

Processor - Intel 2.4 Ghz-northwood socket mPGA478
Ram - ddr400

can i get max performance for squid with this hardware? what the recomended
specification for me? what type of harddisk?
