Hi

I add the below config to squid.conf

max_filedescriptors 8192

and i run the "/usr/local/squid/bin/squidclient mgr:info | grep 'file
descri'", and it show the correct value that i want for the
max_filedescriptors.

Is it a must to reconfigure again the squid ?

FD is a networking abbreviation of "file descriptors". Used by Squid to
open sockets, pipes and files.

Since you had enough traffic to force you to need the ephemeral ports
range, chances are you need to adjust the FD range available as well.
