[squid-users] Squid is blocking avast updates

Good afternoon list. This is my first post so please accept my apologies
if I get something wrong with my post.

I have a problem with my squid installation blocking avast updates I
have done some Googling, but I've not matched the problem. I'm assuming
the extension type is probably giving trouble.

The log line reads:

1330705645.961 0 172.16.1.12 TCP_DENIED/403 1431 GET
http://download716.avast.com/iavs5x/servers.def.vpx - NONE/- text/html

Version:
squid -v
Squid Cache: Version 2.7.STABLE7

Is this something I can fix with relative ease?
